One week in Australia

It is late sunday evening. I feel the soft night wind blowing in from the open door and enjoy the warmth. Due to these summer conditions I find it hard to believe that only a bit more than a week ago I was still in the middle of winter Finland... It feels like having been in a time machine JI am amazed by the warmth, sun, nice people and the colourful birdies everywhere. (Viherlandian Kallet ja Torstit lentelevat taalla vapaana) So Australia has served me well so far and the time has gone quickly!

Here is a picture of our yard. The grapes are getting ready...

My trip and flights here went well. I had a nice girl from Hong Kong sitting next to me from London to Hong Kong. She had been studying in London and had also visited Finland. Luckily I slept most of the 12-hour flight since in the next flight sleeping was impossible. I was sitting next to this old man who just wouldn’t shut up... I was thinking about you all partying there in Finland whilst sitting in the plane about to arrive in Adelaide airport. I asked the nice hostess of Cathay to bring me a class of wine. That was my New Years, forgot to celebrate the Ecuadorian one too.

But it is good finally being here after the long trip and I am getting used to the time difference still being a bit jet lagged. It was good to notice Andrew hadn’t changed a bit. His housemates are nice but Im glad to have the house just for two of us soon when they leave.

The week has gone quickly and I have been busy organising little things. Today Andrew and I went to the best beach of Adelaide, Noarlunga. The water was crystal clear and warm. I will add more pics later..

No worries mates!

Our house. We will buy some more plants there..
